Floating Light
This work examines a state of light that emerges within space itself. The light depicted here is not the result of movement, nor is it something cast or projected from an external source. It does not settle into a fixed position, but exists by maintaining relationships within the surrounding space.
The green layer that appears in the lower portion of the composition holds a fluctuating distance from the light above, moving closer and farther away. Neither element is assigned a fixed role. Their relationship can be read as balanced, or as something on the verge of instability.
Rather than defining the light through function or origin, the work focuses on how its presence is perceived through spatial relationships. The composition remains open, allowing viewers to sense the tension and continuity that arise between elements sharing the same space.
