Ascending Light
Beyond the dimensional membrane, light does not remain static; it continues to move. This work depicts light rising from a plane of light itself. The plane is calm and mirror-like, comparable to a perfectly clear surface, from which light ascends without sound. The rising motion resembles mist lifting upward, subtle yet unmistakably present.
This ascending light appears to be oriented toward even higher dimensions. Such states of light can be observed within higher-dimensional realms, yet they are also perceptible from the three-dimensional world when viewed through the dimensional membrane. The membrane functions as an interface that allows this phenomenon to be witnessed without direct passage.
Here, light is not treated as a fixed form but as a living condition. Its motion suggests vitality, as if light itself possesses agency. The work records a moment in which light transitions upward, revealing a state that exists between observation, movement, and higher-dimensional continuity.
