Rolling Light

Rolling Light portrays light moving forward in a rolling, self-propelling motion. The image is based on the idea that light can enter a plasma-like state, in which charged particles and energy fields interact to create continuous, shifting motion. Atmospheric plasma phenomena—often cited in discussions of human-soul fireballs—offer a physical analogy, but the work extends the concept into higher-dimensional space. There, similar processes of aggregation, deformation, and release of energy may occur at scales or conditions not visible in the three-dimensional world. The artwork focuses on this dynamic behavior: light as a substance that can fold, rotate, and reorganize itself while advancing. Rolling Light presents this motion as one possible form of how higher-dimensional energy manifests when translated into visual experience.
