Dimentional Mambrane
This work depicts a dimensional membrane that operates as a three-dimensional frame. Within this frame lies the boundary of the familiar world, while beyond it higher dimensions become perceptible. The viewer does not cross into these realms but observes them through the membrane, as one might look through a window that allows vision without passage.
In the higher dimensions shown here, time is not expressed as day and night in a conventional sense. Instead, it appears as alternating states of brightness and darkness—distinct conditions rather than temporal cycles. These states function as counterparts, each defined by the presence of the other. Brightness becomes recognizable only in relation to darkness, and darkness gains meaning through contrast with brightness.
The membrane thus reveals not only separation between dimensions, but also the structure by which higher-dimensional states identify and sustain one another. What is shown is a system of recognition through contrast, framed and made visible from within three-dimensional perception.
