The Lightself Series envisions the self as light — not represented, but revealed. These works belong to the approach of Purified Art, where light itself is the subject, carrying presence as memory, identity, and transformation. Each piece shows the being of spirit in a different state: emerging, dissolving, enduring, or breaking through. The images hold no figure or outline; form arises only through rhythm, pressure, and luminosity.
In this series, light is not treated as reflection or symbol, but as the origin of experience. Works such as Light through Closed Eyelids or Being as Light portray perception turned inward, where illumination is sensed as presence within the body. Others, like Ascension and Light Extrusion, register struggle and endurance — light pressing against resistance, or remaining etched into the surface of matter like an imprint across time. The sequence extends to reunion, as in Sacred Reunion, where divided essences return to a shared luminosity.
The series as a whole redefines portraiture as transmission. Instead of depicting external likeness, these works render the interior condition of being, distilled into luminous states. Light becomes the self that precedes and survives matter — the essence that both bears and remembers existence.

Light through Closed Eyelids
This work depicts the light seen through closed eyelids. Warm light from the outside seems to gently reach the eyes, as if filling them with a quiet sense of happiness. It focuses not on what is seen, but on the presence of light as something felt inwardly.
Genesis
Genesis presents the origin of life as a quiet emergence of light. Rising through layered air, the light forms the first current of creation—a presence from which all existence begins.
Being as Light
A figure ascends from the third dimension, dissolving into light and returning to its luminous essence.
Sacred Reunion
Sacred Reunion marks the return of two souls once apart. Emerging as twin leaves and trunks, the work embodies reunion not as a return to sameness, but as rebirth shaped by difference.
Third Eye
Third Eye depicts the ignition of inner vision—the moment perception extends beyond the surface and opens toward light as essence. It conveys awakening not as a symbol, but as an encounter where vision itself becomes illumination.
Three Souls
Three Souls envisions the convergence of a triadic essence — three presences whose union creates a turbulence and power greater than any one alone.
Creation
lCreation depicts the first emergence of light in the universe—an origin where luminous presence begins to take form out of formlessness.
Purification
Purification presents light as a descending presence, a vertical flow that cleanses and renews. The work evokes the act of spirit passing through atmosphere, dissolving matter into clarity.
Light Extrusion

Ascension
Ascension depicts light as a force breaking upward through darkness, evoking the struggle and triumph of spirit rising beyond matter..
