Dublin

Dublin brings several incompatible spaces together within a single instant. The street seems to lie beneath the sea, while light pours down from above with an ambiguity that makes it unclear whether it is sunlight or water. Interior and exterior begin to cross, and the ordinary boundaries that define the city start to collapse.

Nothing has moved to an imaginary place. The elements remain rooted in Dublin, yet their spatial relationships no longer obey ordinary experience. Street, interior, water, reflection, and architecture occupy the same location at once, creating a moment in which separate realities have converged.

Within this instability, a Guinness barrel remains visible. Surrounded by a ring of light, it functions as a distinctly Irish marker inside the shifting space. The city is therefore not erased by the transformation. Dublin remains present, but as a place where several states of reality have gathered into one single uncertain moment.
