Primordial Sea — 原初の海
Life emerging within the sea—primordial life that does not yet know what form it will take.
This is the deepest and darkest surface in the series. Pale light gathers at the center and dissolves into black at every edge. Faint textures layer upon one another like sediment over sediment, veils of matter suspended in the depth. Nothing has an outline; everything is on the verge of having one.
The first life did not arrive in the sea from elsewhere. It condensed out of the sea itself—matter gathering, thickening, crossing some threshold that cannot be pointed to. The picture holds the moment just before that threshold: the water still only water, and yet already carrying the possibility of everything that will follow.
All water in this series returns here. The hidden stream, the healing spring, the vein, the flow—each begins in this darkness. Matter before form: the series closes at its source.
