Artist Commentary

In this work, I expressed the "radiant resolve of a soul" at the moment she cast herself into the turbulent waves, free from all hesitation. While her story is often told as a tragedy, its essence lies in the "purity of light" reached through the singular goal of protecting a loved one. The overwhelming white light overflowing from above symbolizes both the sea deity’s reception and the supreme energy of love emitted by her own soul.

The soft white and surrounding golden light at the center represent the "ultimate silence" that follows an act of profound love. This light awakens the deep compassion within you, granting the quiet courage to protect what is precious and a peace that dissolves all resentment. Through this light portrait, I hope you reaffirm the depth of your own love and move forward using your true feelings as a guiding flame through any rough sea. Please feel the divine majesty of a love that is boundlessly warm and noble.
