Drift— 彷徨

Drift brings together pale green, gray, and traces of ochre, while white light moves slowly through the surface. There is no fixed center to the composition. The eye travels naturally from bright areas into darker ones and then elsewhere. Cracks and traces of matter remain visible, but none of them dominates the whole image.

The work explores drifting without a predetermined direction. Light expands from the left toward the center before losing its boundaries, while color refuses to remain in one place and gradually dissolves into the surrounding matter. Forms seem to begin emerging, yet at the same time they may also be disappearing.

Drift does not depict a journey moving toward a single destination. Instead, matter itself continues to shift with light and color, never settling into a fixed place. The work holds an ambiguous moment between formation and dissolution, preserving a state in which neither process has fully taken over.
