Drift— 彷徨

Drift begins with a fractured mineral surface crossed by pale light and muted traces of green, gray, and ochre. No single element dominates the field. Instead, the eye moves from one area to another, following changes in density, color, and texture that never settle into a fixed direction.

The work considers movement without destination. Light appears to enter the surface, then disperse; color gathers briefly, then fades into surrounding matter. Cracks suggest structure, but that structure does not fully contain what passes through it. The image remains suspended between formation and dissolution, as if matter were searching for a temporary place to rest.

Drift does not describe a journey in a literal sense. It presents wandering as a material condition: a state in which boundaries remain unstable and movement continues without arrival. What seems to emerge may also be disappearing, leaving only traces of passage across the surface over time.
