Perceptual Screen #2 Beyond Mesh
Click Iname to Go Back
This work explores perception as surface — a thin membrane between inner and outer vision. A flowing mesh of luminous dots moves like rain across a field of color, evoking 皮膚感覚 (skin-sense): the sensation of light not just seen, but felt on the edge of the body.
Part of the Perceptual Screen series, this piece treats the act of seeing as a kind of tactile filtering. The mesh pattern does not obscure but modulates — as if perception were passing through a breathable surface. Light becomes both stimulus and skin, simultaneously distant and intimate.
