San Antonio

San Antonio is rendered in a form that approaches abstraction, where the city is no longer seen as a clear physical place but as a field of memory. What appears here is divided between two states: what has settled into the depths of remembrance and what still floats near the surface. The lower area carries a greater weight, suggesting things that have sunk and accumulated over time. Above it, lighter tones hover uncertainly, as if fragments of place remain visible but cannot fully take shape. The city itself is no longer stable or complete. It survives only as traces, suspended between presence and disappearance. In this work, memory is not a fixed archive but a layered space in which some things sink, some drift, and some fade before they can be grasped. San Antonio becomes less a location than a structure of recollection, formed by sediment, light, and the gradual loss of clarity.
