Day and Night

In the higher-dimensional world beyond the dimensional membrane, light and darkness continue to exist, but their relationship differs fundamentally from that of the three-dimensional realm. Darkness exists not as an opposing force, but as a condition that allows light to be perceived as light, forming an inseparable unity with it. In the three-dimensional world, light and darkness confront each other in direct opposition, struggling over dominance until light ultimately overtakes darkness.

In higher dimensions, however, light persists while containing darkness within itself. Darkness is not erased or excluded; instead, it is held and integrated. This work depicts that state. Rather than a simple division between light and dark, the image reveals a condition in which both permeate one another, alternating and overlapping. The boundaries remain fluid, suggesting a dimensional order where contrast no longer implies conflict, but functions as a necessary condition for presence and recognition.
