At the center of Jomon’s Breeze, the Sazare-Ishi is depicted as a tunnel-like gateway that transcends time and space.

The artwork also features pyramids said to have been constructed from natural mountains in ancient Japan, serving as bases for cosmic communication. These structures symbolize humanity’s universal quest to connect with the cosmos. Along the sides of the pyramids appear Katakamuna characters, believed to date back over 12,000 years, expressing cosmic harmony and energy.

At the apex of the composition stands a Shakō Doki (goggle-eyed clay figure), representing the Jomon people’s spiritual and cosmic awareness. The flowing water in the foreground symbolizes purification and renewal, serving a ritualistic role of cleansing as one transitions into the Jomon space.
