Cold Rain(冷たい雨)
The song Cold Rain begins with the line, “I wandered the city in the cold rain.”
A woman, after a quarrel with her lover, walks alone through the wet streets.
When she returns, she finds another woman’s red shoes by the door—her lover has already moved on.
The “cold rain” becomes the symbol of this quiet heartbreak.
Each drop recalls the memory of love lost, yet also the slow passing of time that softens pain.
In my artwork, I sought to capture that moment when the rain pulls back what one wishes to forget.
The city is not drawn in detail; only light reflected on the wet ground remains.
One red traffic signal stands in the distance, mirroring her heart—
a sign to stop, a memory that will not fade, and perhaps,
the last faint light still burning within her.
