Phase — 位相
Phase explores a condition in which matter, light, and perception no longer remain clearly separated. A dark form gathers within a pale luminous field, yet it is uncertain whether the form is emerging, dissolving, or opening into another space. Its boundary is present but unstable, as though the material itself has entered a different state.
The surrounding light does not behave simply as illumination. It appears absorbed, reflected, and suspended within the surface, making it difficult to determine where matter ends and light begins. The image may suggest a half-remembered landscape, a place retained without location or time. It may also be read as a passage: a luminous threshold through which one might move toward another world.
Phase remains deliberately unresolved. Rather than describing a specific transformation, the work holds several possibilities together, allowing material change, memory, light, and spatial transition to simultaneously occupy the same uncertain moment at once.
