Source — 水源

This work depicts a place where water is born. Pale light rises softly from within the surface, and water seems to emerge continuously from its glow. Rather than radiating from a single point, the light appears as scattered particles, gradually forming the presence of water.

What is shown is water before it becomes a visible stream. After reaching the surface, it does not simply continue as a river. Instead, it disappears underground once again. Although no longer visible, the water itself has not vanished. It continues to move beneath the earth before eventually resurfacing far from where it first appeared.

The work considers this beginning of circulation as a source of life. It includes not only the water we can see, but also the unseen water continuing beneath the ground. Together, they form an uninterrupted system that sustains life, even while much of its movement remains hidden from view.
