Water of Life — 命の水

Water that sustains life. At Lourdes, in southwestern France, spring water is known as miraculous water that heals the sick. This work expresses the energy such water holds.

On a weathered green ground, blue matter blooms from within. Light does not strike this surface from outside—it seeps through it, as if the matter itself were faintly luminous. The reflection is soft, cellular, almost breathing. Scattered warm particles drift across the field like traces of something beginning.

The energy of water is not the energy of force. It does not burst or strike. It permeates, saturates, quietly fills what it touches. That is the nature of water that heals: an energy that works from within, invisible at any single moment, undeniable over time.
